Sag wagon

In the weeks before the ride, I rebuilt a wheel for Lance. I wound up riding on the rebuilt wheel, and as I rode up a slight incline, I shifted and heard a sharp "ping" which wasn't what I was expecting for a shift. I commented on how loud the shift was, then realized that the bike was pulsing. I rolled to a stop, realizing that I had broken a spoke. Turns out it wasn't a spoke that broke, but the hub flange -- the same exact failure Lance had seen -- definitely a bad hub design!
I hopped in the sag wagon, driven by Ed (great guy!) and found out we were only 2 miles from the lunch stop, where Ed from D&Q in Cherry Hill hooked me up with a spare wheel. (I owe the second half of Saturday to two Eds!) Need any bike or sports supplies? Keep D&Q in mind!
