Getting ready
Everyone's unpacking and getting ready to ride.

A bit of a ride to get there, maybe 20 minutes or so, and we had to find the picnic shelter and weren't quite sure if we were in the right place, because the only sign we could see at the trailhead from the parking lot said "Horses". Thankfully we had the right place, and everyone else showed up.

Roger with Trail Signs
At a regroup point, Roger waits by the nice trail signs.
Date: 04/06/2007
Roger waiting for everyone to regroup at a branch in the trail. The trail was very well signed, the Fat Tire Society has done some really good work getting this trail ready to go!
Beautiful sign
Built by mountain bikers, used by mountain bikers. No horses!
Date: 04/06/2007
Hopefully folks pay attention to this sign, because horses do far more damage to a trail (not to mention the crap all over the place) than a mountain bike could.
Nice to see trails for bikes!

Diane caught a pricker bush across the face and cut her lip. Ouch! Just part of mountain biking, though, so she just smiled it off!
