Rainy day view of the Art Museum

Waiting to meet up with Lance and Dmitri at the Joan of Arc statue, I took this picture of the art museum. You can't really get an idea of just how hard it was raining at this point. Because it was so soggy, and my camera isn't waterproof (stored it in a ziploc bag which I held over it to take the picture) I've got to apologize, but I've got no pictures of the ride itself.

I didn't get a picture of Dmitri, since he showed up later. Lance had ridden in Wissahickon, and was dressed in a light jersey and shorts. I was a bit chilly in long baggy shorts and a jacket! Dmitri showed up in baggies and a cotton T-shirt.

The group before the statements. Everyone gathered around to hear the short statements the organizers read before the ride started. This gives you a pretty good idea how few folks actually showed up, but I think we were all surprised just how many did, considering the conditions.
